STORY: Snake's cake

Snail made up his mind that he would make a birthday cake

for his best mate, Snake. But Snail, I'm afraid,was a little bit

lazy and some would say , a little bit crazy!

He laid up a tray with a cup and a plate, "I aim to surprise

Snake -I really can't wait !  I'll give this cake an amazing

taste. Let's take a look here - there's no time to waste ."

"That's a pain," he said , as he came to the page. "If I make it

like that , it will take me an age. I'll have to race to the shops

if I do what they say. I'll just make this cake in my very own

way." Soin went some dates and some stale cornflakes.

  I'll put in some grapes , if there is any space ,"

said that crazy Snail, with a smile on his face. When Snake

came , Snail placed the tray on the table, "Eat the whole cake,

mate," said Snail , "if you 're able.

I made it to wish you a Happy Birthday'.

I'm sure it will taste good. What do you say ?"

"I'm wondering why you made this cake today.

     It isn't my birthday ' til saturday. And as for the taste ,

well what can I say ? It's strange - but I'll eat it all up anyway."

English Story :Gulliver In Lilliput

 Gulliver was a great sea lover. He lived in England with his wife and children. Although he was a physician, yet his love for the sea often led him to long sea voyages In the year 1712, during one such voyage, his ship named " The Antelope " was wrecked being caught in a violent storm. Gulliver , not seeing any fellow sailor around, had no choice but to move alone where the destiny would take him.
