* Long back an old man lived in a village
along with his four sons.
* All the sons were idlers and lazy , so the
old man had to work hard in his field.
* "If you die ,what would happen to us ?
We don't even know how to work," the
elder son asked in worry.
* "I have burried a treasure for all of you
in the field. After my death you four can
dig it out."
* After some time the old man died. The sons
performed the last rites of their father.
* All the sons in search of the treasure started
digging the field.
* Greedily they digged the field all over very
very deep, but their was no treasure.
* The dejected sons sowed the seeds of grains
in the field to gain something for their labour.
* Timely rain yielded rich crop in the field.
* By selling the crop they earned a big amount
of money.
* The eldest son said, "Father had rightly said
that the treasure was buried in the field."
Moral : Hard work never goes unrewarded.
