We use 'a' before a noun that starts with a consonants. We use 

 'an' before a noun that starts with a vowel or a vowel sound.

 a hat         a cap        an ice cream          an eye

 A. Write 'a' or 'an' before the given words.

English Story :Gulliver In Lilliput

 Gulliver was a great sea lover. He lived in England with his wife and children. Although he was a physician, yet his love for the sea often led him to long sea voyages In the year 1712, during one such voyage, his ship named " The Antelope " was wrecked being caught in a violent storm. Gulliver , not seeing any fellow sailor around, had no choice but to move alone where the destiny would take him. Floating day and night on a broken piece  of the wrecked ship, he reached a lonely island. Exhausted with constant labour, he fell fast asleep.
