2nd Grade : reading skills : SUMMER , AUTUMN , WINTER AND SPRING

 Summer ,autumn , winter and spring are the 

  seasons. Spring is called the queen of all 

  seasons. Bright flowers , sweet smell is the 

  reason . Birds sing ,bees buzz and it's fun for 

  everyone.


*   World Health Day is on 7th April.

 *   World No Tobacco day is on 31st May.

 *   World Environment Day is on 5th June.

 *   World Population Day is on 11th July.

 *   International Youth Day is on 12th August.

 *   International Literacy Day is on 8th 

     September .

 *   World Teacher's Day is on 5th October.

 *    Universal Children's Day is 2nd November.

 *    Christmas Day is celebrated on 25th 

       December.

English Story :Gulliver In Lilliput

 Gulliver was a great sea lover. He lived in England with his wife and children. Although he was a physician, yet his love for the sea often led him to long sea voyages In the year 1712, during one such voyage, his ship named " The Antelope " was wrecked being caught in a violent storm. Gulliver , not seeing any fellow sailor around, had no choice but to move alone where the destiny would take him. Floating day and night on a broken piece  of the wrecked ship, he reached a lonely island. Exhausted with constant labour, he fell fast asleep. When Gulliver came out of his slumber, he was feeling quite hungry. To fetch himself with something to eat, he tried to get up but he couldn't. 'Oh Good!
